Three men we haven’t seen for a bit returned on Raw last night (Nov. 8).
Bobby Lashley & MVP’s absences made sense, for different reasons. Lashley’s last appearance was at Crown Jewel on Oct. 21, where he lost a No Holds Barred Falls Count Anywhere match to a man who’d been talking about killing him. Missing a couple of Mondays to sell the beating Goldberg laid on him is pro wrestling 101 (and something WWE doesn’t always do).
His manager/stablemate has been off since mid-September. The storyline explanation was a rib injury caused by a Randy Orton RKO. The actual reason was arthroscopic knee surgery MVP has been putting off since earlier in the year. On Raw, the two men were there as Lashley dismantled Dominik Mysterio to take his spot at Survivor Series.

Elsewhere on the show, AJ Styles returned from a two week layoff. Unlike The Hurt Business duo, Styles’ absence is a mystery. Wrestling Observer reported the Phenomenal One was out with a “non-injury medical issue,” but that’s all we know.
He's baaaaaaaaack!

Along with tag partner Omos, Styles was supposed to have another match against Raw Tag Team champions Orton & Riddle on Oct. 25. That match was pulled and no explanation given. AJ & Omos worked with new #1 contenders Dirty Dawgs against the champs & Street Profits last night, and ended up brawling with their fellow heels after RK-Bro & the Profits won the match.
We’ll see what happens in the red brand tag scene on the road to next weekend’s PPV. In the meantime, welcome back you three!
