WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR NOV. 8

It’s barely yours on loan, what you think you own. The place that you call home, the ideas in your bones. But me? I’m just here to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with a recap of last week’s main event between Big E and Kevin Owens.

Kevin Owens and Big E are hanging out backstage.

Owens says he’s trying to convince people he’s not the guy who used to turn on friends and partners, but E tells him he’s rubbing cocoa butter on his body and he doesn’t care. Kev says Big is one of the only guys in the locker room whose opinion he cares about and tries to explain last week again.

Big E again tells him he doesn’t care and walks off, which leads KO to sadly say that he cares, to himself.

Seth Rollins makes his entrance, garish in red and blue.

He gets on the mic and says as undisputed face of Raw it’s his duty to inform us that he’s a visionary, a revolutionary, Seth freakin’ Rollins. He says he could talk about how he’s gonna lead Team Raw to victory over those bums on Team SmackDown at Survivor Series but gets derailed by a “you look stupid” chant.

But no, he wants to get to the bottom of who exactly Kevin Owens is. Is he the prizefighter, the hero, the man who’ll do anything to win, or a coward and a liar? He says they came up in the business together and slept on countless floors and there’s always been one thing you can count on— he’ll stab you in the back any chance he gets.

Don’t believe him? Ask Sami Zayn or Kofi Kingston, he’s gutless and soulless and a liar. And when he beats him in the main event tonight, Kevin will not only be the biggest liar in the world, but the biggest loser.

Enter Kevin Owens.

He makes a bee line for Rollins and brawls him to the floor, going for the apron powerbomb but Seth runs away!

RK-Bro are in Gorilla and Matt Riddle is talking Randy Orton’s ear off again.

He rambles about getting payback on Omos but Orton tells him they’re the tag team champions and they have a target on their back and they don’t need to pick fights with giants. Omos attacked the Street Profits last week, not Riddle, and he doesn’t care about the Profits.

Matt points out that they’re right behind him and Randy does a slow turn to see them. He says he meant every word he said and he doesn’t care what the Street Profits do out there tonight, but if they have a vendetta against Omos, they’re on their own.

RK-Bro make their entrance to send us to break.

AJ Styles, Dirty Dawgz (Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode), & Omos vs. RK-Bro (Matt Riddle & Randy Orton) & Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford)

Profits in control on Roode early, a tag to Ziggler turns things around briefly but they push him into the corner and tag Orton in, stomps to the midsection. Shift to Riddle and Styles, reverse a Styles Clash into a triangle and then a Frankensteiner to the floor!

The two teams square up on the floor and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Roode gets a nearfall on Riddle and draws him up, tag to Ziggler as they run a heat segment on the King of Bros. Matt fires up, big knee and the path is clear... tag to Orton! In hot with lariats, snap scoop powerslams for everybody, hanging DDT follows!

Randy goes to that special place, Robert makes the save, the match breaks down and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Omos is wrecking Ford, dropping him with a big boot as the heat segment rolls on! Eventually Montez lands an enzuigiri on Ziggler, tags made and Dawkins clears house! Drill Bit on Styles, Omos stops the rally with a chokeslam! Ford dives in and is removed, Riddle runs in over Orton’s objections and lights the giant up with strikes before getting chokebombed!

The heels argue, Ziggler tagging in to AJ’s dismay, Roode shoves the Phenomenal One, Omos grabs him by the neck and throws him into the barricade! Dolph slides in...

AJ Styles, Dirty Dawgz, & Omos win by pinfall with a lateral press from Dolph Ziggler on Matt Riddle.

Post-match, Orton hits the RKO on Ziggler and yells at Riddle for not listening to him, but helps him to the back all the same.

At Gorilla, Rey Mysterio and Dominik are hanging out when Kevin Owens rolls up.

He needs to hear from Rey that he believes that he’s changed, but Rey wants to prioritize his match. Pressed, Mysterio says he believes him and they’ll chat later.

The Mysterios make their entrance and send us to break.

Back from commercial we get a hype reel for Veer Mahaan.

Five-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce is in the ring with the Mysterios.

Before he gets into why he called them into the ring, he wants to talk about Survivor Series. He talks up the history of the show and last year’s clean sweep of Team SmackDown and says that’s why he’s here.

It’s almost embarrassing for him to admit it, but when the roster for Team Raw was announced over the weekend he felt like he made a huge mistake. Every member of Team Raw is a former WWE Champion except for Dominik Mysterio, and that’s an issue for him.

He tells Dom he’s got a ton of potential but he wants Team Raw to win, and as of right now he’s still on Team Raw... unless he loses his match right now against Bobby Lashley.

He makes his entrance and we go to break.

Bobby Lashley vs. Dominik Mysterio

Lashley shoving him around early, front chancery into the delayed vertical lift but Mysterio slips out and ducks under, forearm from the apron, shoulder thrust, right hand, going up top, diving crossbody caught but he manages to low-bridge Bob to the floor!

Plancha caught, Lashley hosses him up and rams his head into the ringpost! Back inside, stepping on him in the ropes, Hurt Lock applied but he chooses to break it before the tap and knees Dominik hard! Throwing him to the floor, fireman’s carry, he slips out, Bob drops Rey with a boot and picks his son back up to ram him into the post again!

Back inside, spear, applying the Hurt Lock again... IT’S OVER!

Bobby Lashley wins by submission with the Hurt Lock, replacing Dominik on Team Raw for Survivor Series.

Backstage, Alpha Academy are hanging out when Seth Rollins rolls up to chat.

He asks them to back him up on Kevin Owens and Chad Gable says he came to the right place, and an alliance of sorts is formed.

Big E makes his entrance to send us to break.

Big E vs. Chad Gable

Gable with a go-behind, side headlock, shift to a hammerlock, out of that and into a cravate, E reverses to a wristlock, Chad reverses out of it! Whip to the corner, up and over, off the ropes, drop down, leapfrog, back elbow lays Gable out for one! Big dragging him to the apron, clubbing blows, apron splash!

Back inside, setting Gable up top, he takes E out and injures his knee with a dragon screw, immediately going to work on it! Wicked spinning toehold, moonsault off the top... NOPE! E scoops him up, Chad slips out, throat thrust... CHAOS THEORY GETS TWO! Jockeying for position, Big hits the Rock Bottom out of the corner and the straps are down!

Scoop lift...

Big E wins by pinfall with the Big Ending.

Post-match, Otis and E square up and jaw at each other.

We go backstage with Kevin Owens, who is chatting to R-Truth about his quest to be believed.

Truth says he believes in a variety of monsters and cryptids, up to and including Leprechaun in the Hood and the Thanksgiving Man (whatever that is), and Owens walks off dejected to send us to break.

Back from commercial, five-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville are in the women’s locker room informing them of the team for Survivor Series.

They’re going to pit Team Raw against themselves in a five-way tonight with the winner getting a title shot, and Doudrop objects. She and Bianca Belair get into it and Dana Brooke pipes up and complains about how overlooked she’s been. Nikki ASH joins the queue and they all bicker amongst each other.

We get a recap of the business with the Mysterios and Bobby Lashley earlier, because Raw is three hours long. (Three hours long.)

We go to the trainer’s room where Dominik is being checked on and Rey Mysterio is interviewed.

He says this is a bunch of bullshit and blames Adam Pearce for forcing Dominik into a match that hurt him rather than just being honest enough to switch the team lineup.

Austin Theory slides in and takes a mocking selfie.

Reggie makes his entrance to send us to break.

Drake Maverick vs. Reggie (c) (WWE 24/7 Championship)

Collar and elbow, into the ropes, Maverick with right hands, Reggie evades a lariat, big dropkick, handspring splash, R-Truth makes his way down and the distraction...

Drake Maverick wins by pinfall with a schoolboy pin, becoming your new WWE 24/7 Champion.

Tozawa rushes in...

Akira Tozawa wins the WWE 24/7 Championship by pinfall.

Byron Saxton follows...

Drake with a dive...

Drake Maverick wins the WWE 24/7 Championship by pinfall.

Back in the ring, Reggie gets on the ball...

Reggie wins the WWE 24/7 Championship by pinfall.

Becky Lynch makes her entrance and joins the commentary booth to send us to break.

Back from commercial we get a roundup of the Undertaker’s social media dealings from his recent trip to Dallas.

In Gorilla, Doudrop and Bianca Belair continue their bickering from earlier.

Carmella gets an inset promo where she talks about how hot she is and how she’s going to win the title.

Zelina Vega gets an inset promo of her own where she says she’s the only one fit to hold the title and give it the royal treatment that it deserves.

Bianca Belair vs. Carmella vs. Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Zelina Vega (WWE Raw Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Match)

Chaos early as action spills to the floor, Belair jaws at Lynch briefly as referees try to get things under control and we go to break.

I guess we didn’t technically get a bell before, because as soon as we return from break referee Eddie Orengo calls for it!

Ripley and Belair square up but Carmella and Vega attack and the babyfaces and heels pair off. Their scraps done with in short order, Rhea and Bianca do a collar and elbow and push each other around the ring. Belair with a waistlock, standing switch, again, leg pick, drop down, Mella and Vega pulls Bianca out of the ring!

The heels circle Ripley, she fights them off two-on-one, dropkick takes Carmella out but Zelina chop blocks her! Morgan tries to get in the fight but Mella drops her, they take it to Rhea, back elbows in the corner set up a pump kick from Vega! Cover for two, heels can’t get along!

They manage to get back on the same page and keep double-teaming Ripley, she fires up, scoop lift, Carmella counters with the X-Factor! Throwing her into the corner, putting boots to her, Bronco Buster, but Rhea sidesteps Zelina’s corner knees! Liv back in, lighting Carmella up with forearms, whip to the corner, back elbow connects!

Running knee, whip reversed, enzuigiri, pop-up stomp but Vega breaks it up! She dumps Carmella out but stands alone against Rhea and gets bieled across the ring a few times! Cravate knees, Bianca returns to the match and takes her out! Shoulder thrusts to Vega, clubbing blows, backflip up and over, stacking Carmella with her and punching away on both of them!

Morgan hits the Codebreaker on her, Mella gets the X-Factor but Rhea breaks it up! Zelina hits a tornado DDT... NOPE! Shoulder block connects, Bianca military presses Vega... AND DROPS HER ONTO THE OTHER THREE WOMEN TO SEND US TO BREAK!

Back from commercial, we get a tower of doom spot that turns into Belair double powerbombing Morgan and Vega! Ripley takes Bianca out, Carmella lays a superkick into Rhea... NOPE! Action to the floor, Belair takes Mella out by smashing her into the announce table and returns to the ring to square up with Ripley.

Ripcord headbutt blocked with a forearm, pumphandle, Riptide blocked, KOD evaded, off the ropes, leapfrog, dropkick blocked, pumphandle, Riptide... LIV MORGAN BREAKS IT UP! Morgan with a tijeras, Rhea shoves her aside, pumphandle, reversed, surfboard inverted stomp, Oblivion connects but Vega breaks it up!

Corner knee, jockeying for position, KOD connects but Doudrop pulls Bianca out of the ring on the cover and smashes her into the ropes! Carmella tries to pick the bones, Liv is on her...

Liv Morgan wins by pinfall with a crucifix pin to become #1 contender to the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.

Backstage, Seth Rollins runs into Big E.

He says he’s honest about who he is, unlike Kevin Owens, and better to trust the devil you know.

E says he doesn’t trust either of them, but you bet your sweet cheeks he’ll be at ringside. They laugh together briefly and Rollins storms off.

Commentary hypes up Tribute to the Troops.

Big E makes his entrance to join commentary for our main event and we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a recap of last week’s SmackDown.

Austin Theory makes his entrance and it doesn’t seem to amount to much.

Seth Rollins makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He says Kevin Owens isn’t the only one who’s been lying, because he has to admit that what happened last week was a plan of both of theirs. He went to Kevin and said they had to do something, and Owens agreed.

Kevin Owens comes to the ring and chases Rollins off to send us to break.

Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins

Right into Frye/Takayama punches, Owens with some chops, whip across, Rollins bails to the safety of the floor! Back inside, he gets laid out by a back elbow, back to the floor and Seth manages to turn the tide. Punches, whip reversed into the barricade, KO lays him out with a lariat and follows it with the senton!

Back in to break the count, back to the floor to hit the cannonball! Back inside, chops in the corner, putting boots to Rollins, Owens up top but Seth rolls to the apron. KO pops down to meet him, kicks, jockeying for position, Owens throws Rollins off the apron and into the announce desk!

Cannonball off the apron! Seth shoves him into the announce desk for some breathing room and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Owens with a crucifix for two, Rollins pops right out into mounted punches and waylays him! Putting boots to him, elbow drop, Kev counters with furious elbows! Whip across into short-arm knees, back suplex, pressing the attack with kicks in the ropes!

Drawing Kev up, snap suplex for two! Back to slugging it out, Owens with a high but legal kick to the inside thigh and a snap suplex leaves them both laid out! Sling Blade connects, Seth goes up top, nobody home on the frog splash! KO off the top with a splash of his own but he’s slow to cover... NOPE!

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, both men are down and out and struggling to get back to their feet. Owens lands a desperate superkick, roll through, trading superkicks, Rollins with an enzuigiri, KO with a lariat and both guys slump down and out again! Jockeying for position in the corner, avalanche fisherman buster again leaves both men down and out!

Slow to cover... NOT ENOUGH! Seth hits the Pedigree, cover... STILL NO! Back up top, jockeying for position, Rollins hits the buckle bomb! KO with the pop-up powerbomb... NO GOOD! Kick to the gut, Stunner blocked, Death Blow connects but Owens rolls out of the ring!

Seth dives off the apron and E dodges the brawl, referee Chad Patton counts and KO is tangled up and confused...

Seth Rollins wins by countout.

KO snaps and unloads on Big E, beating him down and throwing him into the steel steps! APRON POWERBOMB! Owens unleashing primal screams and raining punches and stomps down as referees and road agents Pat Buck and Shane Helms come down to try and break things up.

That’s the show, folks.
