Coming into Friday, all we knew about SmackDown tonight (Nov. 5) was that The Bloodline would try to “maintain control over the New Era” after losing to King Woods & Sir Kofi in last week’s main event.
Which was understandable, right? The folks at WWE had half their team running shows in the United Kingdom, big revenues to report to their investors, and wrestlers to fire! They can’t be writing a show in advance, too.
But they have found time to announce a couple of things. One of them is even a match.
Not that these are surprising developments, the wrestling being promoted is a rematch. But they’re both good angles, so they do have our interest:
- After a week off, Roman Reigns is back. Which means more of watching Paul Heyman squirm about his ties to the Universal champion and Reigns’ perennial rival, the suspended and fined Brock Lesnar.
- Naomi will go one-on-one with Shayna Baszler, and probably get screwed over by Sonya Deville again somehow.
Join us in our live blog (whether you’re watching or not) and enjoy these angles, and whatever else they put on FOX at 8pm ET, with your fellow Cagesiders.
