NXT personalities announce their engagement

The mood among those who work at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando probably isn’t great today (Nov. 5), seeing as a lot of their colleagues lost their jobs yesterday.

But life goes on, and this should give the wrestling community in general a little something to smile about. NXT play-by-play voice Vic Joseph popped the question to backstage interviewer McKenzie Mitchell. And she said yes!

The couple went public with their relationship about a year ago, and now they’re taking it to the next level.

Joseph signed with WWE in 2017, and had a brief run on Raw prior to the pandemic. He’s since settled in alongside Wade Barrett and Beth Phoenix at the NXT announce table. The Clevelander also co-hosts the company’s After The Bell podcast with Corey Graves. Mitchell was an Impact Wrestling personality before coming to WWE. She also works with WWE Digital, including as one of the hosts of the weekly YouTube show What’s NeXT, with Alicia Taylor.

Congrats you two!
