NXT’s numbers were going to come down after last Tuesday’s packed card on a themed episode. And they did come down. But the fact the stayed at the upper end of what the show was doing before Halloween Havoc - and against tough competition - has to be encouraging for WWE and USA.
According to Showbuzz Daily, the Nov. 2 NXT was viewed by 631,000 people. That’s a 15% drop from Oct. 26, but better than Oct. 19, and just shy of what the show did the first two Tuesdays of last month.
Ratings in the 18 - 49 year old demo were also down from last week, almost 17%. But the .15 the show did pull matched October’s non-Halloween Havoc high. That put NXT at 30th in the cable ratings.
But seeing as there were NBA games on TNT, and almost 14 million people were watching the Atlanta Braves win their first World Series in more than a quarter century over on FOX, these numbers are perfectly acceptable to WWE’s developmental show.
Here’s a look at NXT’s viewership and 18 - 49 year old demo rating since they moved to Tuesdays after WrestleMania 37.
