WWE SURVIVOR SERIES LIVE BLOG & MATCH COVERAGE
In the year 1486, the Malleus first appeared, designed to kill all witchcraft and end the papal fears, prescribing tortures to kill the Black Arts, and the Hammer struck hard, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks.
The pre-show begins with Kayla Braxton welcoming her panel, tonight consisting of Booker T, Jerry “the King” Lawler, Peter Rosenberg, and Kevin Patrick, and they proceed to do all manner of pre-show things that we needn’t concern ourselves with.
Damian Priest vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Into striking, Damian ducking and dodging, trading knee lifts, Good Vibrations in the corner! Priest with a leg lariat out of the corner, grounding Shinsuke with a reverse chinlock.

Shinsuke Nakamura wins by disqualification.
The pre-show closes with more preview commentary, and also Vincent Kennedy McMahon getting out of a limousine carrying a golden egg, no I am not kidding.
The show kicks off with a video tying the show to the Rock’s new movie Red Notice, which coincidentally features the egg Vince is carrying around, so that makes sense of that.
Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
Slugging it out from the jump, Flair rams her into the corner and piefaces her until referee Ryan Tran breaks them up! They shake hands and Roman sits down across from him, and Vince asks if he wants The Egg, and tells him that the Rock gave it to him as a token of his appreciation, and it’s not a prop from a movie, it’s the real thing, and it’s worth millions of dollars.

McMahon orders him to go find who did it, and if he can’t, he’ll get to the bottom of it tomorrow night on Raw, personally.
We get the Xia Li vignette from SmackDown.
I go to the bathroom during entrances but never fear, my darling wife Josie has stepped in to provide her commentary, pussycats!
Bianca comes out and does her usual bop and hair twist. I gotta say, her red tights are on point.
Okay, here comes Carmella, turning up the sex appeal. Yeesh, way to sexualize the leggings. And dominatrix straps on the top. A bit extra, are we, Carmella. Anyway, it sure beats the creepy skin mask. Please please please don’t let that make an appearance, I’ll lose my lunch.
Zelina Vega comes out, her entrance lasts all of three seconds. Way to promote your champ, WWE. Sorry, y’all, I’m PMSing. (Claire’s note: Sweetie, *we’re* PMSing.)
Liv Morgan comes out, she’s looking vibrant and good tonight. Kind of a Spider-Woman feel to her gear that I’m not against.
Rhea comes out with the real fireworks and... yep, I’m a lesbian.
Natalya comes out. Is she wearing kitty cat hears? I can hardly tell because they won’t even zoom in on her until Shayna comes out. Okay, it’s a cute little ribbon jawn, I think.
Anyway, Shayna has blue gear like the rest of the gang, I’m a fan. And then here comes Shotzi, okay I can’t keep up, these entrances are rapid fire. Toni Storm is unceremoniously “introduced” and then hides in a shadow while Sasha comes out, dripping with whatever the glitter version of drip is. Clink? Sure, let’s go with that.

Paul Heyman is blindsided by Kayla Braxton for an interview backstage.
He says he doesn’t know anything about the theft of Vince McMahon’s egg and blames it on the arena full of New Yorkers. Asked about rumors that Brock Lesnar’s suspension is over early, he says you’d have to ask Adam Pearce about that.

He follows it up with the standing Stretch Muffler in the middle of the ring but Roman sits up and reverses to a schoolboy and then a one-armed powerbomb... BIG E WILL NOT STAY DOWN!
Reigns calls for it, E ducks the Superman Punch but gets caught by a Rock Bottom... NO GOOD! Superman Punch connects this time, Big down to one knee but he’s fighting mad and not ready to give up! Another Superman Punch knocks him off his feet but he’s fired up and ready to go!
A third Superman Punch connects but Roman wastes his time jawing at the crowd instead of capitalizing! Howling, E is ready to meet him and scoops him up but Reigns slips out! Pass to the floor, back up on the apron, the suicide spear connects and drives Roman to the floor!
Throwing him inside, Reigns meets him with the spear... BIG E KICKS OUT! Both men slow to rise, Roman’s still talking but E is glassy-eyed as he tries to get his bearings. Guillotine choke applied, Big rams him into the corner to break before he can get it all the way in!
