Bron Breakker is a true babyface

My main man Sean wondered about the next step in Bron Breakker’s development while commenting that whatever NXT decides to do now, coming off a loss in his first attempt at winning the championship, will be key.

What they came up with was his running through Andre Chase before cutting one hell of a babyface promo:

“Last week at Halloween Havoc I had the biggest match of my life, and I failed. Tommaso Ciampa set trap after trap and I fell for each and every one of them. He took advantage of my inexperience in this ring and it’s only fair that I say that Tommaso Ciampa is the man in NXT.

“BUT there’s nothing that pisses me off more than losing. And Tommaso, if you think me and you are done you’re wrong. Because I’m going to get another shot at that title and I will beat you for the NXT championship or I will die trying!”

First, it’s good to see someone actually being booked like a true babyface. He owned up to his shortcomings, recognized where exactly he fell short, gave props to his opponent, and then vowed to come back better. He did so in such a way that you actually want to see him make good on that while following along on his journey.

We need more babyfaces like this.

This man is going to be a damn star.
