Raw established some new title feuds

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was largely about pushing forward into the future of the show. That meant establishing some programs for the top players on the brand.

Mission accomplished.

Here’s what we got:

  • Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defeated Bianca Belair in what was presented as the finale of their feud. Later, she was confronted backstage by Liv Morgan. While she shrugged her off, it at least seems clear WWE is doing something there.
  • United States Champion Damian Priest dealt with T-BAR for the second week in a row, pushing him out of the picture. Apollo Crews showed up just after to put himself in it.
  • Women’s Tag Team Champions Rhea Ripley & Nikki A.S.H. found themselves some enemies in the form of Queen Zelina Vega & Carmella, who popped off at the mouth behind their backs (after being nice to their faces) backstage. The heels scored a win in the match that happened shortly after, presumably setting themselves up for a title shot.

Into the future we go.
