WWE had a fairly busy episode of Friday Night SmackDown this week, with a contract signing for the women’s title match at Crown Jewel, the set up for an Edge vs. Seth Rollins Hell in a Cell match, the start of the King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown tournaments, and Roman Reigns needing to be acknowledged.
Still, I can’t see why WWE didn’t put this video they shot of Shotzi returning to her home in San Jose for this very episode of SmackDown on TV:
The draft split Shotzi from Tegan Nox, and she’s going to have to try to make it as a singles star on the blue brand. Airing videos like this would go a long way toward helping fans identify with her and connect to her. She comes across incredibly well in this video, where she has fun and showcases the charismatic side of her personality before getting emotional talking about missing her stepfather, who recently passed.
Again, I understand there’s only so much time on a two hour program that has many commercial breaks, but this is too good not to put on TV. At least they put it on their hugely popular YouTube page so we can still get eyes on it.
Here are all the videos that did make it on TV for SmackDown this week:
