WWE only announces two matches for the King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown tournaments

Tomorrow night’s (Oct. 8) episode of WWE SmackDown will see some first round action in both the King of the Ring tournament and the Queen’s Crown tournament.

Details on both tournaments remain sparse, outside of some rumors that indicate the finals for each tourney will occur at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on Oct. 21.

WWE hasn’t revealed the full tournament brackets yet, but they did announce two first round matches for tomorrow night on FOX. Hey, it’s better than nothing.

On the women’s side, Liv Morgan will take on Carmella in a rematch from the Extreme Rules pre-show. On the men’s side, Rey Mysterio will try his luck against Sami Zayn, who has gotten the better of Rey’s son Dominik over the last couple months.

In addition to those tournament matches, WWE is advertising a contract signing tomorrow night between Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bianca Belair for their SmackDown women’s championship match at Crown Jewel. There’s no word yet on whether John Cena will be waiting in the shadows ready to sign his name on the contract if one of these three wrestlers happen to be incapacitated during the segment.

How excited are you to check out SmackDown tomorrow night?
