WWE Draft 2021 results, round seven: SmackDown beefs up its women’s division

Here’s how round seven of the 2021 WWE Draft played out:

1. Raw: AJ Styles & Omos
2. SmackDown: Shayna Baszler
3. Raw: Kevin Owens
4. SmackDown: Xia Li

The seventh round saw the red brand re-up with AJ Styles sticking on Monday Night Raw with his own personal Colossus, Omos. They’ll be challenging RK-Bro for the tag team titles at Crown Jewel later this month, but no matter the result both teams will have plenty of time to keep their issue going.

One issue Raw has had over the past year is a lack of star power up and down the card and Owens is certainly a wrestler who can be slotted into the main event immediately.

Meanwhile, SmackDown went big with its women’s division, loading up by taking both Shayna Baszler, who injured Nia Jax and Eva Marie before laying waste to Dana Brooke this week, and Xia Li, a call up from the NXT roster who WWE clearly has high hopes for.
