WWE Draft 2021 results, round eight: Finn Balor moves to Raw

Here’s how round eight of the 2021 WWE Draft played out:

1. Raw: The Street Profits
2. SmackDown: The Viking Raiders
3. Raw: Finn Balor
4. SmackDown: Ricochet

Finn Balor went from wrestling Roman Reigns for the Universal championship in the main event of a pay-per-view just over one week ago to falling all the way to the eight round of this year’s draft. He fills a similar role Kevin Owens does — he’s a strong mid-card act as needed who can be a top level star whenever he’s given the opportunity.

The Street Profits join Balor there, as Montez Ford gets to stay on the same brand as his wife, Bianca Belair.

SmackDown gets two barely utilized acts in The Viking Raiders, who could instantly be in the thick of things in the tag scene on the blue brand, and Ricochet, who has been making his home on Main Event. He may actually get a chance now!
