The next show on the WWE calendar is the latest trip into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The show will be called Crown Jewel, the same as the show around this time two years ago, and will take place on Oct. 21, 2021, at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Here’s the card so far:
- Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar (Universal championship)
Lesnar returned at SummerSlam to confront Reigns after he defeated John Cena. The focal point of the story quickly became Paul Heyman and where his allegiance lies. It’s been the best thing WWE has been doing of late.
- Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair (SmackDown women’s championship)
It’s hard to know what to think of a match like this, at least right now, considering the Draft. We already know Belair is headed to Monday Night Raw and it’s at least possible neither of the other two will follow. Or both will. Or one will. We’ll learn that on Raw this week. We do know Charlotte Flair is now on the SmackDown roster, so this could very well be a Raw women’s title match.
No other matches have been announced just yet but there are rumors that Bobby Lashley vs. Goldberg will take place on the show, as well as the finals to the King of the Ring tournament.
