WWE wasn’t gonna let Halloween go by without smashing a few pumpkins

Halloween is on Sunday, and that means pro wrestling/sports entertainment shows with costumes, candy, and jack o’lanterns.

AEW’s already given us a Dynamite main event pitting the Ghostbusters against Kratos & some cowboys, and Rampage tonight (Oct. 29) will feature a No Disqualification Women’s World Championship Eliminator between Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. and Abadon that will surely involve a spooky prop or two. Now WWE is getting in on the act.

Heading into tonight’s show on FS1, we had heard very little about the plans for SmackDown. But late this afternoon, a match was announced. You better believe someone is going end up wearing a pumpkin on their head after this one...

Expect Pat McAfee to rock out with Intercontinental champion Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick BOOGS, and Madcap Moss to crack up his pal Happy Corbin, all while advancing Corbin & Nak’s (already lengthy) feud.
