Mandy Rose wins the NXT women’s championship at Halloween Havoc

Mandy Rose!

Mandy Rose!

Mandy Rose just won the NXT women’s championship!

After Raquel Gonzalez dealt with a challenge from Franky Monet, Toxic Attraction made clear they wanted all the gold in NXT when they launched an attack that ultimately resulted in Mandy Rose being booked in a “Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal” match at tonight’s (Tues., Oct. 26, 2021) Halloween Havoc event, on the same night Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne would challenge for the NXT women’s tag team titles.

The latter two took care of business to start the show, winning a Scareway to Hell ladder match. Rose followed suit a few matches later, successfully pinning Gonzalez in a Trick or Street Fight chosen by Chucky.

Yeah, that Chucky.

It was a whole thing.

The match they put together was far better than it had any business being, though it was helped along greatly by the stipulation. They went all out, including an awesome spear through a table in the corner.

In the end, the masked mysterious gravedigger from the vignettes airing on NXT TV the past couple weeks showed up with a shovel and used it to blast Gonzalez in the back. After Rose’s celebration, she hit the ring to unmask.

It was Dakota Kai all along. Unfinished business and all that.

Meanwhile, Toxic Attraction made good and now holds all the gold.
