Damian Priest wrestled T-BAR in a “championship contenders” match on Monday Night Raw this week, which wouldn’t normally be notable but is this time because it wasn’t the Damian Priest we’ve come to know and love over the past year or so on the red brand. The Archer of Infamy appears to be no more.

He’s got a new theme, new entrance, new Tron, a slightly updated look. You’ll notice the tron shows Priest in both dark and light, and that’s the new character color commentator Corey Graves was pushing during his match. He’s still a good guy and all, he just has a dark side that can come out.
And you don’t want to see that dark side.

Priest won the match by disqualification when T-BAR threw a chair at him. That’s when he snapped and his new dark side came out. What followed was an extended beatdown while commentary put over this new side of the U.S. champion.
The goal, it seems, is to give him an aggressive edge. It’s all very Vince McMahon.
