We’re getting another Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair match

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw is both the season premiere and the first show with the post-Draft roster taking effect. That means WWE is establishing everyone in their new home while integrating them into programs with holdover stars/champions.

To that end, they didn’t have a lot of work to do with the Raw women’s championship.

That’s because Becky Lynch, the current titleholder, was still embroiled in a feud with Bianca Belair when both were drafted from SmackDown to Raw. So while Lynch may have retained her title against Belair at Crown Jewel, that match also included Sasha Banks, who interrupted their last singles encounter at Extreme Rules.

That means these two haven’t been given the chance to have a proper singles match. Remember, Becky won the title from Bianca in 26 seconds in her surprise return at SummerSlam.

So instead of moving on to something new, WWE is going to go ahead and wrap this up first. It’s unclear exactly when the match will take place, but they’ve confirmed that it will be happening.
