Hit Row make a successful debut on SmackDown

New, comments

Hit Row was probably the most talked about of all the NXT call ups in the latest WWE Draft, as the foursome consisting of Swerve Scott, Ashante Adonis, Top Dolla, and B-Fab always seemed more like a main roster act during their time in NXT. We got to see what that looked like during their debut on Friday Night SmackDown this week and, at least in my eyes, it was a success.

They came out rapping, establishing their gimmick, getting their catchphrases in, working their bits, and then they looked impressive in a dominant win. This is noteworthy because it’s clear they’re being positioned for bigger and better things right from the outset.

Consider dominant NXT Champion Karrion Kross and how his call up went in comparison. That’s nothing against Kross, he’ll likely recover and do just fine, it’s simply to showcase the smoother transition for Hit Row.

They’re here now and it’s only looking up from here.
