It’s a good thing Brock Lesnar has access to a private jet out of Saudi Arabia, because he plans to be at SmackDown tomorrow night (Oct. 22) in Wichita, Kansas, to beat the crap out of Roman Reigns.
That’s the word coming from WWE:
In the wake of Universal Champion Roman Reigns’ controversial victory over Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel, The Beast made no secret about what his response will be.
As he was leaving Saudi Arabia, Lesnar was quoted as saying, “The moment I arrive at SmackDown, I will beat Roman Reigns senseless.”
Lesnar’s emphatic statement came after The Head of the Table used questionable methods during the Universal Title Match at WWE Crown Jewel while the official was down. First, Reigns got an assist from The Usos, then clobbered Lesnar with the Universal Title to retain the gold.
Reigns pinned Lesnar earlier today at Crown Jewel 2021 following an ambiguous assist from Paul Heyman, and a more blatant assist from The Usos.
Brock isn’t expected to wrestle again for WWE until Royal Rumble 2022 in January, so we’ll see if WWE shoots an angle on SmackDown to write him off television for a while. That is, after he takes Jimmy and Jey on a trip to Suplex City, of course.
And if by chance the rest of the WWE roster happens to be detained in Saudi Arabia again, just like they were at Crown Jewel two years ago, Lesnar might have to work overtime tomorrow night.
