The main card of WWE Crown Jewel 2021 in Saudi Arabia begins today (Oct. 21) at 12 pm ET. WWE opened their Crown Jewel 2021 kickoff show by announcing two new match stipulations for today’s card.
WWE revealed the breaking news that Roman Reigns’ Universal championship defense against Brock Lesnar was now going to be a No Disqualification match. But then 20 minutes later they announced that Lesnar and Reigns had no interest in the stipulation and so it was removed. Okay then. It seems to me like WWE is still figuring out the booking of the match and potentially rewriting it as we speak.
WWE also added a “Falls Count Anywhere” stipulation to Goldberg’s match against Bobby Lashley. The original No Holds Barred stipulation remains intact for their fight, so I guess WWE has come up with a finish for the match that will go outside the ring, presumably involving Goldberg’s son, Gage. Maybe this one will also be canceled before the match begins, who the hell knows.
