WWE Hall of Famer “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan has dealt with a number of health conditions over the last few years. In March of 2019, he underwent a procedure to address an irregular heartbeat. In September of that year, he had two surgeries within a span of 24 hours because of an undisclosed infection.
But last year, the 67 year old said he’d lost 40 pounds and was in much better health. Unfortunately, Wednesday morning (Oct. 20) his wife Debra shared that something had sent him back to the hospital for emergency surgery.
Back where we don't want to be. Please pray for Jim and his doctors as he has emergency surgery this morning. Thank you, Debra pic.twitter.com/U7DmqIgE3U

Several of Duggan’s contemporaries shared his wife’s calls for well wishes and prayers. Thankfully, the next news was good. First from Jake Roberts:
Great news !!! Hacksaw Jim Duggan is out of surgery and recovering!!

Them Debra shared an update of her own. You can almost hear “HOOOO!” through the picture.
Out of surgery and back in his room. Everything went well. Thank you for your prayers, good vibes and good thoughts. You can keep them coming in. pic.twitter.com/gPUWI4N6Wq

Hacksaw’s retired, and believed to be on a WWE Legends deal. Here’s hoping he’s feeling well enough to show up on Raw or SmackDown as part of that contract sometime soon, and that he’s swinging a 2x4 over his head for years to come.
