Halloween Havoc gets a host, and an NXT Tag title match

Ideally, you’d like the host of Halloween Havoc to have a spooky season-adjacent gimmick. But on the plus side, WWE did run an angle to set-up up this year’s emcee.

Grayson Waller wanted the gig, LA Knight thought he’d be bad for it, so they fought. Knight won, so he’s Shotzi Blackheart’s successor for this year’s themed episode of NXT.

So it fits, and Knight does have the gift of gab, so those Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal segments he’s talking about in that interview will have that going for them.

Plus, Chucky is still gonna be around as a guest star, so there’s a non-zero chance LA will be attacked by a killer doll. Not sure if that’s good or bad, but it’s Halloween-y.

NXT also added another match with a wheel-”determined” stipulation to next Tuesday’s card. MSK will defend their Tag belts against Imperium.
