All the neighbors never see me, but they wonder why I walk around at night. He gets hungry, I go hunting in the moonlit streets for somebody that’s right. Fresh blood, a sanguinary feast is all he’s living for, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with a recap of Carmelo Hayes winning the NXT North American Championship last week.

Accompanied by Trick Williams as usual, Carmelo makes his first entrance as NXT North American Champion.

Hayes asks to be introduced again just because it sounds so nice, and Trick gets on the mic to say if you’re looking for humble, check in the dictionary next to “hell no.” Carmelo talks about how he’s blown through the competition and proven that he’s the final boss.

Enter Johnny Gargano.

He gets on the mic and says he just wanted to come out her and say congratulations but he’s lost his way with Candice LeRae pregnant, Austin Theory on Raw, and Indi Hartwell off married to Dexter Lumis, but he thinks what’s next for Johnny Gargano is going back to what he was put on this planet to do.

Being in this ring against someone like Hayes, that is. He calls Carmelo out using his catchphrase and waves to his son-in-law after the new champ has some rude things to say about Indi. Dexter is behind Hayes and goes to choke him out! Carmelo and Trick barely get away, Hayes tries to feed Williams to the wolves, and Johnny stands tall with the title belt.

Odyssey Jones makes his entrance and we go to break.

Andre Chase vs. Odyssey Jones

Jones in control after some feeling out with a huge spinebuster, Chase fires back with a missile dropkick, stomps to the back and the front, headlock punches into a short DDT... NOPE! Shrugging Andre off, scoop and a slam, whip to the corner for a Stinger Splash, somersault senton, off the ropes...

Odyssey Jones wins by pinfall with a big splash.

Diamond Mine are walking along backstage, Malcolm Bivens cutting a promo as he goes.

He says Diamond Mine aren’t asking for opportunities anymore, they’re going to take them.

They make their entrance and send us to break.

Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed) vs. Imperium (Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel)

Aichner and Brutus to start, lots of tight technical wrestling back and forth, Julius tags in but Barthel moves to striking to try and cut him off. Sidestep in the corner, enzuigiri, half-halch suplex, Marcel up on the second, Roderick Strong runs interference and the Creeds take control.

Soon enough Fabian gets the hot tag, deadlifting Brutus up for a Californial Roll, cover, Julius breaks it up and tags back in! Barthel in as well, Doctor Bomb... NOPE! KUSHIDA and Ikemen Jiro come down to even the odds against the Diamond Mine and Marcel steals it...

Imperium win by pinfall with a victory roll from Marcel Barthel.

Post-match, MSK attack Imperium and lay Aichner out!

We get a video package of Von Wagner taking Kyle O’Reilly into the great outdoors for some... extreme hiking? I dunno. He closes the session with some beers and KOR says if they can get on the same page, they can cause a lot of damage.

A Cora Jade video package follows and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Joe Gacy gets a promo.

He says we don’t need violence to settle our differences, and any microaggression thrown our way, he has empathy and he’ll speak for us and make a stronger coalition than we ever could be as individuals.

It’s revealed that he’s across some glass from Harland, and he tells him to follow him.

Legado del Fantasma are in the ring.

Santos Escobar calls Carmelo Hayes out and calls him a lucky son of a bitch.

Cora Jade vs. Elektra Lopez

Lopez in control early, Jade firing off some forearms but Elektra keeps the momentum. Cora gets lucky...

Cora Jade wins by pinfall with a small package.

Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa are interviewed backstage.

Bron says he won’t be pinned tonight, Tom says if he’s so intent on protecting him, he’ll follow his lead.

Io Shirai makes her entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial, we get some Twitter videos from over the weekend of LA Knight and Grayson Waller pitching to host Halloween Havoc, and we’re told they’ll wrestle for the right later tonight.

Io Shirai vs. Jacy Jayne vs. Persia Pirotta

Three-way feeling out, Pirotta fights off a submission attempt from Shirai into a short spinebuster only to get low-bridged right after. Jayne comes up way short on a dive and nearly spikes her head into the floor and Io moonsaults onto them all as we go to break.

Back from commercial, Persia has a bear hug locked on Shirai! Letting it go, shoulder thrusts, whip across, shoulder thrust, straight suplex, another one reversed into a small package... NOPE! Pirotta with a lariat, only two, off the ropes, she catches Io into a powerbomb... STILL NO!

Tiger feint kick, springboard dropkick, cover, only two! Arm-trap crossface applied, Persia hosses her way up out of it, Shirai hits a German suplex and heads up top...

Io Shirai wins by pinfall with the diving moonsault, earning the right to spin the wheel and determine the stipulation for the three-way title match next week.

The wheel spins... It’ll be a Scareway to Hell Ladder Match!

We get footage of Legado del Fantasma beating Trey Baxter up and threatening Cora Jade.

A Tony D’Angelo video package follows to send us to break.

Back from commercial, we get a KUSHIDA / Ikemen Jiro vignette.

Tony D’Angelo vs. ???

D’Angelo in control, working dude over with a side headlock, he fires up, forearms into a kick but Tony takes his head off with an elbow and puts boots to him! Short-arm lariat, roll-through northern lights...

Tony D’Angelo wins by pinfall with the fisherman neckbreaker.

Post-match, D’Angelo is interviewed in the ring.

He doesn’t know nothin’ about no Mark and maybe he just went on vacation. He slips the interview lady a couple bucks to go buy herself something nice and just forget about it.

A video package for Duke’s Poker Room follows wherein he calls himself the house and says the house always wins.

Briggs & Jensen’s music plays and the camera goes back to find that Brooks Jensen is down and out and Legado del Fantasma crack a chair across Josh Briggs’ back on their way to the ring!

They make their entrance and we go to break.

Briggs & Jensen (Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs) vs. Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza)

Match joined in progress, Legado in control due to their earlier attack, Briggs and Jensen fight valiantly but the tide is hard to turn. Josh’s injured ribs a target, eventually Brooks tags in, hard whip into a snap scoop powerslam, Santos running interference and Wilde eats a back body drop!

Mendoza legal, he outmaneuvers Jensen...

Legado del Fantasma win by pinfall with an assisted Russian legsweep on Brooks Jensen.

We get a video package for Raquel Gonzalez vs. Mandy Rose next week.

LA Knight makes his entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercia we get another one of those creepy Halloween Havoc vignettes featuring a mysterious figure with a shovel.

Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes are in the locker room digging through stuff in search of his title and they just come across a flyer for an open house Dexter Lumis is having.

Grayson Waller vs. LA Knight (Winner Hosts Halloween Havoc)

Waller with an early small package, only two, hip toss reversed into a lateral press, still no, up and over, LA with a stomp to the back of the head and punches, shoulder block in the ropes! Knight snaps his neck over the top rope, slingshot shoulder block, into a reverse chinlock to grind Grayson down.

Jawbreaker counters, Waller blocking punches, lariats with both arm and leg and a STO puts LA on his back! Knight knocks him off the ropes, puts him down with a boot...

LA Knight wins by pinfall with the snapmare driver, earning the right to host Halloween Havoc.

We get some hype for next week, including the arrival of Solo Sikoa.

Tomasso Ciampa makes his entrance to send us to break.

Bron Breakker & Tommaso Ciampa vs. Grizzled Young Vets (James Drake & Zack Gibson)

Breakker and Drake to start, James with a side headlock, shot off, shoulder block. Side headlock, shot off, drop down, big takedowns from Steiner! Big powerslam follows, tag from Ciampa, he runs right into a back elbow, side headlock, blind tag, leapfrogs, Tom running wild with lariats!

Corner knee and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Drake is in control on Ciampa with a side headlock, body blows, boot up in the corner, back suplex and the path is clear! James cuts him off and puts boots to him and the Vets work over the surgically repaired neck. Ripcord DDT connects and the path finally seems clear!

Tag to Breakker, he lights Drake up, big time shoulder block, belly-to-belly suplex and the straps are down! The Steiner Recliner is on but Gibson tries to break it up with a kick to the head! Bron’s just made and he knocks Zack over the ropes, military press on James...

Bron Breakker & Tommaso Ciampa win by pinfall with a military press powerslam from Breakker on James Drake.

Post-match, Ciampa gets in Breakker’s face and holds the NXT Championship up.

That’s the show, folks.
