The next show on the WWE calendar is the latest trip into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The show will be called Crown Jewel, the same as the show around this time two years ago, and will take place on Oct. 21, 2021, at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Here’s the card just days out from showtime:
- Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar (Universal championship)
Lesnar returned at SummerSlam to establish that he was coming for Reigns, manipulated Paul Heyman into getting a shot, and has since been playing mind games with Roman over Heyman’s allegiance.
- Big E (c) vs. Drew McIntyre (WWE championship)
McIntyre made himself top contender on Monday Night Raw before he was drafted to Friday Night SmackDown, so this is just wrapping that up.
- Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks (SmackDown women’s championship)
Both Lynch and Belair were drafted to Raw. Banks is now saying she has to win to keep the title on the blue brand but Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair was drafted to SmackDown. So who knows?
- Goldberg vs. Bobby Lashley (No Holds Barred)
In their match at SummerSlam, Goldberg’s son, Gage, got involved in the action and Lashley ended up putting hands on him. This enraged Goldberg to the point that he’s been promising to kill Bobby.
- Edge vs. Seth Rollins (Hell in a Cell)
These two have been feuding for some time now and this will represent the third match in their trilogy. One would think it ends here.
- RK-Bro (c) vs. AJ Styles & Omos (Raw tag team championship)
Styles & Omos won the tag titles at WrestleMania, then lost them to RK-Bro at SummerSlam. They’re still fighting over them.
- Mansoor vs. Mustafa Ali
These two were teaming together until just this past week when Ali, who never wanted to be in the team in the first place, finally turned against Mansoor to set this up.
- King of the Ring tournament final
Finn Balor defeated Cesaro and Sami Zayn to advance to the final. He’ll await the winner of the Jinder Mahal vs. Xavier Woods match set for Raw this week.
- Queen’s Crown tournament final
Zelina Vega defeated Toni Storm and Carmella to advance to the final. She’ll await the winner of the Shayna Baszler vs. Doudrop match set for Raw this week.
