Two more title matches booked for Halloween Havoc

WWE’s YouTube

It’s not clear when or if NXT 2.0 will hold TakeOvers (or TakeOver-like streaming specials), so themed editions of their regular Tuesday broadcast may be the revamped brand’s version of PPV.

They’ve got one of those coming up in two weeks with Oct. 26’s Halloween Havoc, and the latest episode brought the number of title matches booked for that show to three.

Both the new editions feature Mandy Rose’s Toxic Attraction stable. As covered elsewhere by my friends & colleagues - and Mandy superfans - Geno Mrosko & Marcus Benjamin, Rose will be challenging for Raquel González’s NXT Women’s title. A stipulation for their clash will be “determined” with the Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal gimmick. At last year’s Halloween Havoc, the wheel landed on Devil’s Playground (no disqualification, falls count anywhere) for Johnny Gargano & Damian Priest’s North American championship match, and Tables, Ladders & Scares for Candice LeRae & Io Shirai’s Women’s title main event.

Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne will challenge for Io Shirai & Zoey Stark’s NXT Women’s Tag belts in a Triple Threat that will also include sex-crazed newlywed Indi Hartwell & her best friend Persia Pirotta.

Here’s an updated look at the card, for which WWE should really bring Shotzi Blackheart back to host - especially since she’s not doing much on the main roster anyway.

- Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs. Bron Breakker for the NXT championship

- Mandy Rose vs. Raquel González (c) for the NXT Women’s title, with the stipulation to be determined by Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal

- Io Shirai & Zoey Stark vs. Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta vs. Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Persia Pirotta) for the NXT Women’s Tag Team championship

Sound like a hauntingly good time?
