Ciampa vs. Breakker at Halloween Havoc will remain a singles match

@WWE

Joe Gacy opened this week’s episode of NXT TV once again preaching his message of acceptance, inclusivity, equity, and creating a safe space free of the championship privilege and toxic masculinity that is Tommaso Ciampa as the guy holding the title. He promised all his snowflakes — it would seem that’s what he is calling his fan base now, if he has one — that he would represent them well after defeating Ciampa and going on to Halloween Havoc to win the championship for himself.

That was the set up for Gacy vs. Ciampa, which came next. A victory for the former would make the main event of Halloween Havoc on Tues., Oct. 26, 2021, a triple threat match, with Gacy joining Bron Breakker as a challenger for the top title.

We don’t have to worry about all that.

That’s because Ciampa pulled out the victory, pinning Gacy clean. Breakker, then, will be getting his shot at the title without any outside distraction.

For what it’s worth, Harland again appeared after the match, attacking Ciampa and then starting like he was going to do the same to Gacy but stopping and running away. We’ll have to see where that’s going.
