Shayna Baszler, Doudrop advance in Queen’s Crown tournament

@WWE

The first round of the first ever Queen’s Crown tournament continued on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in San Francisco with two matches featuring wrestlers from the red brand trying to advance to the semifinals of the eight-woman tournament.

Get a look at the full bracket right here.

In the first match, Shayna Baszler got the chance to continue her run of maiming everyone she comes into contact with. It wasn’t a surprise, then, that she defeated Dana Brooke in relatively short order.

It was, however, something of a surprise that she didn’t injure her after. It wasn’t for lack of trying! The referee just got in the way while Brooke escaped by a strand of hair.

Later, Natalya, back as a singles wrestler following a breakup with Tamina via being split in the draft, took on Doudrop, who herself recently split from her tag partner, Eva Marie. Nattie was aggressive all throughout, and had the advantage for pretty much the entirety of the match, but Doudrop surprised her with a roll up and scored the pinfall that way.

Baszler will meet Doudrop in the semifinals on next week’s episode of Raw.
