Lest you think WWE just had Bad Bunny re-enact the video for his single “Booker T” in ThunderDome at Royal Rumble for clout... well, they totally did it for clout.
But while they had one of the biggest stars in the world hanging around at Tropicana Field in Tampa on Jan. 31, and since he’s a pro wrestling fan (as the whole “wrote a song called ‘Booker T’ thing demonstrates), they also booked him a storyline.
The Miz & Morrison - who think they’re A-Listers, don’t you know - pitched the Puerto Rican Grammy winner on a collaboration. He wisely declined.
That bruised Miz’s ego, so he took out Bunny’s DJ’s gear before entering the Rumble match.

The Billboard topping artist was pissed, and after his being held back from storming the ring helped Damian Priest to eliminated Mr. Money in the Bank and Johnny Drip Drip, he took flight!
Check it out...

Off the distraction by @sanbenito, @mikethemiz & @TheRealMorrison have been ELIMINATED! #RoyalRumble pic.twitter.com/E75KqbNBK0
Michael Cole’s horrible line about flying bunnies aside, that kicked ass. And should definitely ensure Royal Rumble mentions show up in a few places they wouldn’t have.
That’s pretty much the dream scenario when you get Spotify’s most streamed artist on your PPV.
