As mentioned in today’s Rumor Roundup, Ivar of Viking Raiders suffered an injury during the eight-man tag pitting the Raiders, Ricochet & Apollo Crews against The Hurt Business. It happened during this dive spot, where it looks like the big man may have caught a foot on the ropes leading to an awkward landing:
He immediately made the ‘X’ sign used to communicate an injury, and the medical team could be seen checking on him while the other wrestlers in the match seemed to rush to an improvised finish.

WWE has commented on Ivar’s injury, and it’s in line with the PWInsider report from last night. It’s also good news about his prognosis:
“During the Eight-Man Tag Team Match on Monday Night Raw, Ivar suffered a cervical injury on a Viking Dive to the floor. As a precaution, Ivar was transported to a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.”
Get well soon, big man!
