Drew McIntyre is already back

It’s been two weeks since Randy Orton punted Drew McIntyre in the head three different times. WWE initially pushed the idea that McIntyre had potentially “career-threatening” injuries before downgrading that to a “hairline jaw fracture.”

Said injury has been pushed as a threat to the rematch between the two scheduled for Clash of Champions on Sept. 27 in Orlando. McIntyre missed last week and Orton opened this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw suggesting Drew simply hand over the WWE championship.

That’s when McIntyre made his return:

It was always obvious McIntyre vs. Orton was going to happen as advertised, there were just questions on how they would get there. Would the champ miss every episode of television leading up to it selling his injuries? After all, that punt has taken out a lot of Legends recently!

Naturally, he only missed a week and is already back looking just as good as he always did.
