We’ll have to wait until Oct. 12 to see if T-Bar, Mace, Slapjack, Reckoning, and Retaliation can rehabilitate the RETRIBUTION gimmick on television. That’s because the performers are quarantining after being exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
WWE kept the group in our minds last night (Sept. 28) on Raw with a video package and some of the flickering lights shenanigans the anarchist faction is known for. The wrestlers themselves were on social media, doing more of what has caused some fans to give RETRIBUTION more leeway...

That wasn’t all, though. T-Bar stepped outside of kayfabe a bit to deliver a message to the haters, and specifically anyone who might celebrate their being off television despite the circumstances surrounding it:
If your response to the news that people were potentially exposed to COVID-19 was “Good” then you should probably reassess your morals as a human being.

He also questioned the intelligence of anyone who tried to tie that tweet into his response to Chris Jericho from the weekend...
The amount of people who fail to understand the difference between this post and a post where I pointed out that super-spreading the virus was a negative thing is truly staggering, yet sadly unsurprising.

Is this stuff helping RETRIBUTION in the long run? I honestly don’t know. But as with everything else, it’s a good effort from the players to make the most of what the folks pulling the strings are giving them.
