This isn’t really a surprise, all things considered, but it is confirmation that we will be seeing — but more importantly hearing — Wade Barrett on NXT Super Tuesday part deux next week:
There’s no way I’m missing this one. This is fast becoming a habit.. see you next week for another #NXTSuperTuesday! #WWENXT https://t.co/Z2DOHXX9BX

Barrett has been the color man for the last two episodes of NXT television and has done a fine job alongside Vic Joseph and Beth Phoenix. He was originally brought in under a one-time deal for a sort of feeling out process, according to reports, and that quickly led to deeper contract negotiations with WWE.
There’s no word on his reaching an actual agreement with the company just yet but this would seem to indicate those talks are going well. The promotion has reportedly been interested in his assuming this role dating back to early this year.
It sure sounds like we’ll be hearing a lot more of the former Nexus leader in the future.
Happy with that idea?
