The Rock & The Iron Sheik team-up to make sure Sheik gets credit for ‘jabroni’

Yesterday, Dictionary.com announced they’d officially added a definition for the word “jabroni.” They shouted out Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson when they did it.

But as we pointed out when covering their announcement, while Rocky is the first person most people think of when they hear “jabroni,” he didn’t invent the word.

The Iron Sheik might not have invented it either, but he was the person who popularized it in the then-WWF locker rooms. And the Hall of Famer was the man Rock learned it from.

Both men are making sure the world knows that in light of the Dictionary.com news. In their own unmistakable manners:

So there you have it. Know your role, don’t be a jabroni, and give Sheiky baby his due.
