An unintentionally hilarious medical update on Sasha Banks, courtesy of WWE and its digital team, hard at work to keep us informed on the status of the top stars in the company:
UPDATE: @SashaBanksWWE was shaken up in last night's attack by @itsBayleyWWE, but no further injuries were sustained.

It’s funny because, well, Bayley’s attack consisted of a chair shot to the back and then putting Sasha’s head in a chair and then just leaving. That’s on top of the fact that WWE never actually told us what Banks’ injuries actually were. All they said was she was taken to a local medical facility (never a hospital, this is WWE, after all), treated, then discharged so she could recover at home.
So she hasn’t suffered further injury from an attack that clearly didn’t cause injury and oh we still don’t know what the initial injuries even were.
Meanwhile, Bayley is still scheduled to wrestle Nikki Cross for her SmackDown women’s championship at Clash of Champions on Sept. 27, itself funny because Cross is in the middle of another story entirely and has nothing to do with any of this.
This is the kind of thing that happens when you gimmick pay-per-view shows that dictate every title must be defended.
