WWE has announced more segments for tomorrow night’s (Sept. 18) episode of SmackDown. Here’s what’s coming to the Thunderdome:
- Roman Reigns & Jey Uso vs. King Corbin & Sheamus (Samoan Street Fight)
- Sasha Banks responds to Bayley’s attack
- A Moment of Bliss with Nikki Cross
- AJ Styles vs. Sami Zayn
We’ve already known about the top two segments, but the latter two are brand new.
Alexa Bliss executed Bray Wyatt’s finishing move on Nikki Cross last week, but it looks like Cross is determined to break through whatever hold The Fiend currently has on her friend. I’m pretty sure this won’t end well for Cross, who is also the number one contender for Bayley’s women’s championship.
As for AJ Styles versus Sami Zayn, well, normally I’d expect a great match because they are both great workers. But the current story that WWE is telling telegraphs yet another disqualification or non-finish here.
The return of Sasha Banks is the most interesting segment here, and will no doubt have everyone’s attention. What physical condition will she be in after Bayley’s vicious attack, and how will she address her former best friend?
What do you think about the lineup for SmackDown?
