Jey Uso is challenging Roman Reigns for the Universal championship on Sept. 27 at Clash of Champions 2020. There are still a couple episodes of SmackDown to get through before their pay-per-view match, which means there will be at least one more tag team match main event on television.
WWE’s web site details that Reigns and Uso will team up on SmackDown tomorrow night (Sept. 18) for a Samoan Street Fight against King Corbin and Sheamus. This follows last week’s angle of a basic tag team match between the teams, where Uso nearly fought the whole match by himself, until Reigns finally showed up and won.
I’m not privy to the rules of a Samoan Street Fight, and WWE doesn’t explain how it’s different from a normal Street Fight. Sports Illustrated says that “the wrinkle this Friday is that Reigns, after not showing up until the end of last week’s match, will be the first man in the ring” for the Samoan Street Fight.
Are you curious to see how Roman finds a way to still do the least amount of work while pulling out the win?
