Just this week (Sept. 7) on Monday Night Raw, Keith Lee demonstrated a unique counter to Randy Orton’s devastating RKO, where he stood in position and refused to budge, even though Randy’s hands were clasped and yanking down.
That means it’s time for WWE to look back on some of the best counters to Orton’s finisher that we’ve ever seen. My personal favorites are the creative handstand from Mustafa Ali (remember him?), as well as Shinsuke Nakamura’s arm bar. But the list also includes a nifty Unprettier, an intense Olympic Hero, a couple world title changes, and even a roll up.
