WWE hasn’t filmed any new NXT UK material since pandemic lockouts started in March. That’s set to change, as the company announced during TakeOver: XXX that the brand would re-start with fresh episodes being filmed starting Sept. 17.
The comeback is made possible by WWE’s broadcast partner in the United Kingdom, BTSport. The pay television service has lent out their London studio to a couple of boxing promotions, and NXT UK will also make use of it.
Triple H has said in the past WWE’s Performance Center in England wasn’t TV-ready like the U.S. version. BTSport solves that problem.
NXT’s head man showed off the new digs with a Twitter video earlier today:
As #WWENXT prepares for #NXTSuperTuesday tonight, @BTSport’s incredible, state of the art facility, in the heart of London, has been transformed into the new home for the relaunch of @NXTUK. @btsportwwe pic.twitter.com/gnGBRvfEim

Looks like they’re updating the studio wrestling concept with new tech - and no fans, of course.
Thoughts?
