Poll: Are you taking RETRIBUTION seriously right now?

The Cageside Seats staff unanimously agrees that, well, RETRIBUTION is just about as lame as it gets right now. It hits a little too close to some bad stuff politically, it’s super lazy from a creative perspective, and the execution of it has been a mixture of annoying (the technical problems didn’t build hype so much as frustration) and ineffective (way to tear the place apart when the show was over anyway, y’all).

The problem may be that we’ve seen invasion angles before and literally every one of them was done better. This didn’t feel so much like a group threatening the very fabric of WWE as just some high schoolers who dressed in black for some moderately dangerous Friday night hijinks.

But maybe we’re not seeing the potential there. I’m wide open to being told we’re wrong here. That’s why I’m asking this in the form of a poll, and strongly encourage you to sound off in the comments to tell us how you feel about RETRIBUTION after the group made its first impression on Raw and SmackDown.
