AEW’s viewership edge over NXT held across all quarters on Aug. 5

All Elite Wrestling

The quarter hour viewership numbers for the Aug. 5 battle of the Wednesday Night War are in, courtesy of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. They show AEW Dynamite beating WWE NXT in all eight, en route to a good night for both shows.

Note much of note, but it’s interesting that big dips during the Best Friends tag match and Dynamite’s lone women’s segment are where NXT came the closest to catching up... in overall audience, anyway. They never got near the #DemoGods in under 50 viewers.

Take a look for yourself and let us know what stands out to you. The first number is total viewers; the number in parenthesis is 18 - 49 year olds. We’ve italicized the “winner” in each.
