Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were released by WWE earlier this year. They buried Paul Heyman for his role in their release, and then showed up at their new home in Impact Wrestling towards the very end of Slammiversary.
The Good Brothers want their close friend AJ Styles to join them in greener pastures, but it doesn’t sound like that will be happening any time soon. On his Twitch stream, Styles addressed the likelihood of a return to Impact Wrestling, with a transcription from Wrestling Inc:
“I don’t know what to think about that; you guys know how I feel about that. Yeah, Gallows and Anderson are trying to get me back [in Impact Wrestling] is what they said. Never say never but I also have said that I would like to finish my career in the WWE. So, we will see.”
Styles is firmly entrenched in a great spot in the WWE system right now, so a move to Impact Wrestling doesn’t seem like it’s in the cards, but he’s still thrilled to see Gallows and Anderson land at Impact Wrestling:
“Man, I am so happy for those guys. I’m happy they’re happy, you know what I mean? ‘Cause there was a tough time there for all of us. So, they’re kicking tail right now anyway.”
Are you still holding out hope that Styles will have one more run with Impact Wrestling before he calls it a career?
