After Apollo Crews disposed of both Shelton Benjamin and MVP, the only member of The Hurt Business left for him to deal with was Bobby Lashley. Naturally, they had a match at tonight’s (Sun., Aug. 30, 2020) WWE Payback pay-per-view (PPV) at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

When Crews beat MVP, he did so with the rest of The Hurt Business barred from ringside. This time, that wasn’t the case. But while commentary played that up a bit, they weren’t ultimately involved in the finish.
Instead, Lashley just overpowered Crews and submitted him with the Full Lashley.
Sorry, Apollo!
