Alexa Bliss was just as confused as the rest of us when she was completely left out of the Bray Wyatt vs. Braun Strowman Universal title match that headlined SummerSlam. As it turned out, there was another major star returning to the picture the powers that be clearly wanted all the focus on, so at least it made some sense to keep her away.
The question quickly became whether or not WWE would drop her story with those two altogether, or simply push it back.
The answer came on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown:
Nikki Cross made a remark about Alexa Bliss changing her hair and it being a bit too much like Wyatt’s. When she brought that up, Bliss got this far away look in her eyes before snapping and smashing Nikki’s mug and storming off.
I don’t know where they’re going with this, but it’s going somewhere and I couldn’t be more intrigued to see exactly where it ends up.
