This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown featured Adam Pearce running around trying to get Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, and Roman Reigns to sign the contract for their Universal championship match at Payback this Sun., Aug. 30, 2020, in Orlando. He got signatures from the first two, but Reigns didn’t like what he saw when he sat down and read the details of the deal.
He made clear, however, that he would be at Payback to take back the title he never lost once the necessary changes were made and “that’s not a prediction, that’s a spoiler.”
Pan to Paul Heyman.
Cue audience confusion.
We’ll have to wait on an explanation for this, but it would certainly seem those who believed Reigns came back as a heel were correct, and he has one of the best managers in history by his side.
This should be very, very interesting.
