“Bullet” Bob Armstrong’s pro wrestling career spanned six decades. His legacy continued through his four sons (WWE’s Scott & Brian aka Road Dogg; Brad, who gained fame in the NWA and WCW before his death in 2012; and Steve, who worked for WWE, WWF, and New Japan in the 90s).
Unsurprisingly, since news of his death came out yesterday (Aug. 27), tributes and farewells have poured in from all over.
Here’s a few:
.@StephMcMahon and I are thinking of the entire Armstrong family at this difficult time as they mourn the death of @WWE Hall of Famer and patriarch of the Armstrong family, "Bullet" Bob Armstrong. @WWERoadDogg @WWEArmstrong

Sad to hear of the passing of #BulletBobArmstrong...a true man’s man in this sport of thieves. When I broke my arm in #SMW in 94, Bob was one of the ONLY ones to call & check on me. I also learned the art of cutting a promo from him. Rest well Bullet! @WWEArmstrong @WWERoadDogg
