NXT ratings hold steady in second week without competition from AEW

WWE.com

The ratings and viewership data are in for this week’s (Aug. 26) episode of NXT television.

Per Showbuzz Daily, NXT checked in with 824,000 viewers for a .24 rating point in the key 18-49 demographic.

Viewership decreased by about 29,000 viewers from the prior week, and the demo rating held steady from last week’s 0.24. NXT dipped from 23rd to 24th place in the demo rating for the night.

These viewership and ratings numbers closely mirror last week’s results, when NXT achieved its highest viewership of the year. NXT has aired in its normal time slot unopposed by AEW Dynamite on consecutive weeks, and this provides more confidence in what their viewership looks like under those conditions.

NXT will air unopposed by Dynamite next week as well, but this time NXT is the show moving to a different date (Tues., Sept. 1) thanks to sports.

Here’s a breakdown of NXT’s viewership and rating in the 18-49 demo:
