Bayley & Banks get opponents, Lee vs. Orton official for Payback

With so little time between shows, WWE had to book multiple matches for Payback, scheduled for this Sun., Aug. 30, 2020, at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, during this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

First, Bayley & Sasha Banks, whose defense of the women’s tag team titles was already announced beforehand, needed some opponents. They were revealed as Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, enemies in pursuit of a common goal cutting a deal with each other. They aren’t friendly, though:

Elsewhere, Randy Orton punted WWE Champion Drew McIntyre in his head three different times throughout the evening and even the fire breathing dragon has a limit on the punishment he can take.

Enter former NXT champion and freshly called up star Keith Lee.

Orton vs. Lee got started on Raw, what with the latter interrupting the former’s promo with a challenge for a match, before McIntyre interrupted said match and left some unfinished business for the two of them. That ended up working out nicely!
