During Saturday night’s TakeOver: XXX stream, WWE announced a pair of comebacks.
A show we haven’t seen since the spring will be back on Thurs., Sept. 17. NXT UK will be filming new episodes at BT Sport Studios in London.
Triple H said on his post-TakeOver media call that it looks like the Dublin event that was moved from April to October due to COVID will likely have to be postponed again. We’ll see how they re-start some big storylines they were building to for that show, especially now that they’ve lost some roster pieces after the #SpeakingOut movement.
We won’t see WALTER and Kay Lee Ray until next month, but former NXT champ Tommaso Ciampa returns to television this upcoming Wednesday at 8 p.m. Eastern.
Absent since new NXT champ Karrion Kross dismantled him at TakeOver: In Your House, the Blackheart had been atop a lot of people’s lists of suspects for RETRIBUTION’s leader. Not to say he couldn’t still be, but his return to the only brand untouched by that group’s chaos should lessen speculation about his involvement.
