Apollo Crews talked his way into a match against Shelton Benjamin on Monday Night Raw this week with stipulations on the line for his United States championship match at SummerSlam on Aug. 23 at the Amway Center in Orlando. If Crews could win, both Benjamin and Bobby Lashley would be banned from ringside.
Naturally, he emerged victorious and now it will be Crews vs. MVP in a straight up singles match, no interference.
It wasn’t all bad for The Hurt Business, however, as Benjamin immediately won the 24/7 championship from R-Truth:
