In the past couple weeks, Alexa Bliss has been attacked by Bray Wyatt once and had to navigate her way through a second attack by playing nice? Connecting with him? We’re still not sure what happened there, and WWE is promoting an interview for this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown where we’ll likely get some answers.
One question around all this is where has Nikki Cross been?
She released a video giving something of an explanation:

“For the last couple weeks now, I’ve been trying to think of what to say, trying to think of the right thing to say. I’ve just been embarrassed. I keep replaying it over and over in my head, pushing Alexa down like that. I think I just let the obsession of becoming SmackDown women’s champion get to me too much. I left my best friend like that. I left my best friend… and for what? I didn’t win. So what was it all for? And I just… I just want to talk to her so badly. I just want to tell her I’m sorry I did this and this is all on me, all of it. I left my best friend alone and vulnerable, and no matter what I know that I have to make that right.”
